She was predeceased by: her parents, George Spence and Reathe Rebecca Dunlap Littlejohn; her husband Hollis Lessel; her siblings, Ora Dye, Gertrude Stacks and David Littlejohn, Sr.; and her great grandchild Russ Bailey McWhirter.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmie Dale Lessel (Pam), Mary Ann Quillian (Berlon) and LaWanda Hale (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Tracy Quillian (Tab), Mellanie McWhirter (Brock), Jeremy Lessel, Jason Lessel (Melody), Chris Hale (Alissa) and Jessica Hale; and her great grandchildren, Chandler Lessel, Landon Lessel, Katilyn Forman (Tyler), Jesse Lessel, Courtney Quillian (Catherine), Alana Busby (Will), Madison Wilson (Gabe), Aron Hale, Bella Grace Hayes, Elizabeth Hale and Hayden Hale. She is also survived by eight great-great grandchildren.
