He was predeceased by : his parents, Elvis Talmadge and Alma Belle Todd Simmons; and his siblings, Ruth Simmons Keeter, David Lee Pearson "Billy" Simmons and James Talmadge Simmons.
He is survived by : his wife Susan Simmons; his children, Gina Simmons and Stacy Simmons (Kim); his grandchildren, Fox DeVaughn, Chloe DeVaughn, Bobby Simmons II (Elizabeth) and Lee Pearson Simmons; and his sister-in-law Jeannie Medders.
