He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Nix; his parents, Jess Nix and Betty Nix; and his sisters, Lynn Hendrix and Candi Barnhill.
He is survived by: his sons, David Nix (Ashley Nix) and Daniel Nix (Lesley Nix); his siblings, Debbie Craft, Jerry Nix (Cynthia Nix) and Terry Nix; and his grandchildren, Jaylan Nix, Jaycee Nix, Timothy Nix, Braden Stamper, Braxton Stamper, Cash Nix, Colt Nix and Evan Nix.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at the New Covenant Cemetery.
