It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Kay Newell of Pontotoc, Mississippi, who passed away on May 18, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Stegall and Mildred Stegall; her husband Morris Duron Newell (Butch); and her siblings, Bobby Dean Stegall, Annette (Stegall) of Pontotoc, Gober of Pontotoc and Elaine Edwards (Stegall) of Pontotoc.
She is survived by: her sister Martha Jo (Stegall); her brother-in-law Billy Fred Edwards of Pontotoc; her children, Tracy (Newell) and Stephen Newell of Pascagoula, Mississippi.; her grandchildren, Jacob Weber (Tausha McCurry Weber) of Powell and Ashley Weber of Heiskell; her great grandchildren, Payton Weber, Caroline Weber, Lucas Weber and Blakely Worthington; and also Michael Weber.
