She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Andrew and Verlen "Bubber" Eva Easley Ruth; her spouse Loss Andrew Austin; her son Robert Larry Poole, Sr.; and her siblings, Essie Ruth (Richard), Agnes Ruth Gillespie (Theo), Vardeman, Virginia Ruth Houpt (Alvis), A. W. Ruth (Mary Emily) and James Robert Ruth (Rachel Stroup Ruth).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Larry Poole, Jr. (JoAnne Orr), Tammy Jean Poole Fauver (Brandon), Michael Poole and Michelle Poole Roberts (Ryan); and her nieces and nephews, Wannie, Vera, Glenda, Jean, Jerry and Jimmy. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
