With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Brown of Pontotoc, Mississippi, who passed away on June 5, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gerald leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Brown and Helen Boyd Brown; and his sisters, Faye Thompson, Margaret Dykes and Louise Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Brown; his sons, Len Brown and Brian Brown (Nia); his stepchildren, Misty Aburto and Cody Jumper; and his sisters, Ruby Dillard and Diane Nobles (Tommy). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Tutor Memorial Funeral Home (270 Coffee St, Pontotoc, MS 38863). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
