He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hoyle McMillen and Jewel Mae McGillivray McMillen; his wife Peggy Phillpis McMillen; his sisters, Debbie Sue Clark, Dorothy Kay Waldo and Linda Gail Derrick; and his grandson Cayson Ryver McMillen.
He is survived by: his children, James "Jamie" Robert McMillen, II (Emily) and Crystal Lynn McMillen; his grandchildren, Jayme, Peggy, Morran, Boston, Abigail and Hailey; his great grandchild Lauren Cheyenne; and his brothers, Thomas Allen McMillen and Randy Dwayne McMillen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Baptist Church (1426 MS-9, Pontotoc, MS 38863). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
