He is survived by : his daughter Shaunda Freely (Clint); his grandchildren, Lydia Jernigan (Cole), Stephan Eddington, Lauren Eddington and Karson Freely; his great grandchildren, Vaida Billingsley, Elodi Billingsley, Cybil Jernigan and Sylis Jernigan; his brothers, Ricky Walls (Ramona) and Dennis Walls (Sheila); and his caregivers, Donna and Bob Smith.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Thaxton Cemetery.
