He is survived by: his children, Mary Jernigan (Sam) of Nettleton, Christy Putt (Adam) of Pontotoc, Doug Odle (Christina) of Jonesville, VA, Jaye Brown (Robin) of Whitesville, KY and Jon Brown (Mona) of Pontotoc; and his sisters, Shirley McVey and Jodie Fay Searcy. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
