He is survived by: his siblings, Jimmy Russell (Angela), Bobby Russell (Kim), Steve Null (Lorie) and Patty Blaylock (Jimmy); his daughter Janice Smith (Billy); his stepchildren, Frankie Hook (Robert), Jennie Roberts (Andrew) and James Bishop (Amy); and his grandchildren, Victoria Eldridge (Ben), Seth Smith (Carly), Mason Smith, Kellie Hunt (Justin), Alex Bishop, Dalton Bishop and Cheyenne Bishop. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
