He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Calomese Curry and Cleveland Curry; and his brothers, George Curry and Max Curry. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Curry of Pontotoc; his children, LaVar "Bo" Curry (Lida) of Marietta, Georgia and Dr. Jamye Savage (Kendrick) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; his grandchildren, Marcus Sacia Curry of Marietta, Kurrie Savage, Kenley Savage and Kambry Savage of Lawrenceville; and his sisters, Cora Dyas, Jeannie Stubbs of Baldwyn and Patty Tucker of Guntown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Baptist Church (340 Clark St, Pontotoc, Mississippi 38863, United States). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
