With sadness, we share the passing of Marion Rudolph Hatcher of Pontotoc, Mississippi. Marion, born on November 24, 1932, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hatcher and Mary Lou Smith Hatcher; his wife June Hatcher; and his siblings, H. H. Hatcher, Kenneth Hatcher and Betty Kane.
He is survived by: his sons, Lee Hatcher (Wanda) of Pontotoc, Mississippi and Scott Hatcher (Tonya) of Pontotoc, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Luke Hatcher (Rachel) of Pontotoc, Margaret Todd (Jeb) of Pontotoc, Jacob Hatcher of Birmingham and Marlee Miller (Luke) of Collinsville, Mississippi; and his great grandchildren, Lawson Todd and Banks Miller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church-Pontotoc (31 W Washington St, Pontotoc, MS 38863).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church-Pontotoc Building Renovation Fund, 31 W Washington Street, Pontotoc, Mississippi 38863.
