He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hoing (Terry), David Townsend (Debbie) and Kent Townsend (Beth); his sister JoElla Skipper; his grandchildren, Kevin Hoing (Daniell), Jason Townsend, Christina Carpenter and John Townsend (Jess); and his great grandchildren, Kathirine Carpenter, Madalyn Carpenter, Brooklyn Carpenter and River Townsend.
