It is with sadness that the passing of Maxine Futrell Brooks of Pontotoc, Mississippi is shared. Maxine, born on September 21, 1945 in Starkville, Mississippi, passed away on September 28, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Pearl Futrell and Bunk Futrell; and her husband Frank Brooks Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Angela Stringfellow (Danny) and Frank Henry Brooks Jr.; and her grandchildren, Brittany Brooks, Kristen Cleveland (Dusty), Heather Brooks (TK), Chelsea Gamble (Jordan), Katelyn Brooks and Zach Cobb (Michaela).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM.
