It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Millicent Seawright (Pontotoc, Mississippi), who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Shannon and Bain Shannon; her son William Joseph Seawright Junior (Will); and her husband William Seawright (Bill). She is survived by: her daughter Molly Seawright Lovorn (Barrett); her grandchildren, Mary Kiley Lovorn and Benjamin Barrett Lovorn; her sister Sally Gillentine (Ken); her nephews, Clayton Gillentine and John Shannon Gillentine (Anna); her great-nephew Van Gillentine; and her great-nieces, Kathleen and Kennedy. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Pontotoc Methodist Church.
Donations can be made in her memory to Pontotoc First Methodist church.
