He was predeceased by: his parents, Ocie Abbott and Mable Abbott; his siblings, Barbara Abbott and W. L. "Dub" Abbott; and his niece-in-law Tanya Abbott.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Ann Abbott; his sibling's children, Marty Abbott, Lori Reeves and Amanda Grubbs (Jason); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Will Reeves, Corbin Abbott, Jamie Bryant, Jayce Grubbs and Jayden Miller.
