He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gordon and Odell Harden Gordon; his former wife Johnnie Mae McKnight Gordon; his siblings, Janell Gordon and Norris Gordon; his sons, Michael Gordon and Corey Gordon; his uncles, Garfield Harden, Leonard Harden and Professor Harden; and his cousin Jim Gordon.
He is survived by: his son Roy B. Gordon, III of Pontotoc, MS; his siblings, Ivory Gordon of Lakeland, FL, Earnest Ivory of Tupelo, MS, Mae Lois Gordon of Pontotoc, MS, Ruby Lynch of Tupelo, MS and Mary Porter of Oxford, MS; his grandchildren, Gabriel D. Gordon of Midlothian, IL and Alexis R. Gordon of Pontotoc; his great-nephew Antonio Gordon of Tupelo, MS; his niece Shellete Clark of Flint, MI; and his cousin Joyce Below of Pontotoc, MS. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
