He is survived by: his wife Auther Mae Chewe; his daughters, Pat Hobson of Pontotoc, MS and Marie Elliott (Michael) of Florissant, MO; his siblings, Sylvia Gregory (James) of Pontotoc, MS, Ruby Brown of Chicago, IL and Roy Chewe of Pontotoc, MS; his siblings-in-law, Gwendolyn Chewe of Pontotoc, MS, Joyce Beckley of Pittsburgh, PA. and Robert Moore (Barbara) of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Tonya Smith (Richmond) of Pontotoc, MS, Kenosha Hobson of Dallas, TX, Aiymaris Elliott, Sr. (Kanesia) of Virginia Beach, VA and Mikale Elliott of South Bend, IN; his great grandchildren, Aiymaris Elliott, II, Khatia Elliott, Richmond Smith, III, Tre'von, Devon, Kaleb and Kaeli; his great great grandchildren, Jaycee, Ava and Jayloni; his nieces and nephews, Samuel, Ahkerria Chewe, Roilyn Edwards, George Noflin (Valerie), Teresa Petty (E. L.), Marissa and Ricardo Pittman; and his friends, Barry Ford and Conwell Duke.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the East Baptist Church (340 Clark St, Pontotoc, Mississippi 38863, United States). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pontotoc High School (123 N Main St, Pontotoc, Mississippi 38863, United States).
