He is survived by: his children, Clayton Souter of Pontotoc, MS and Leslie Souter Ferguson of Pontotoc, MS; his wife Mamie McShan Souter; his children, Mario Souter of Pontotoc, MS, Aaron Souter of Pontotoc, MS, Michael Souter of Portland, OR and Kimberly Sharp of Hickory Flat, MS; his sister Linda McEwen of Algoma, MS; his nephew James Souter of Oxford, MS; his sister-in-law Sharon White of Water Valley, MS; and his close friends, Willie B. Pearson, Ricky Harris and Randall White. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
