He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavada Wray White and William Alvis Denton; and his siblings, Walter Denton, Rex White and Myra White Poole.
He is survived by: his children, William David Denton (Janet), Pat Denton McCaine, Becky Walker (Ricky) and Pam Lantrip (Tommy); and his siblings, Ricky Denton (Kay) and Darnell Gilbert (Dale). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
