She was predeceased by : her parents, J. W. Simmons and Georgie Ables Simmons; her brother Michael Simmons; and her son Shawn Turnage. She is survived by : her husband W. R. Turnage; her daughter Cathy Disbrow; and her grandchildren, Brian Disbrow (Natausha), Adam Disbrow (Allison), Jacob Turnage, Alexis Shipley (Kenny) and Kacie Turnage. She is also survived by five Great Grandchildren.
