He is survived by: his wife Johanna Peterson; his children, BJ Peterson (Jess) and Rebecca Griffin (Mark); his granddaughters, Caitlin Sumrall, Brinkly Griffin, Lola Griffin, Presley Peterson and Ryleigh Griffin; his siblings, Cynthia Cuevas (Gary), Margaret Sumrall, Jon Kimball Peterson, Andy Wayne Peterson (Cathy) and Darrin Peterson (Leanne); his nieces and nephews, Kurrie Peterson, Josh Peterson, Tawnya Bartlett, Jennifer Madsen (Henrik), Jay Cuevas (Kelly), Cherie Barber (Travis), Wyatt Peterson (Hailey), Anna Peterson and Angel Cuevas; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Iben, Bailey Madsen, Bella, LJ Cuevas, Aiden Barber, Parker and Pace Peterson; Chandler Madsen. He is also survived by his family—especially his beloved wife, his children, and his girls.
