It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Lee Spiers of Poplarville, Mississippi, born in McNeill, Mississippi, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Matthew Spiers and Lela Alsobrooks Spiers; his son Russell Spiers; and his siblings, Ruth Smith, Liz Martin, Medrid Spiers and Ernest Nathan Spiers.
He is survived by : his children, Glynda Anderson (Wayne), Lee Spiers (Penny), Tommy Spiers (Kathy) and Whitney Donnelly (Jack); his stepchildren, J. T. Burge and Connie Burge Gore; his brother Charles Spiers; and his close friend Ruth Preston.
