She was predeceased by: her husband Garland. She is survived by: her son Shane Hester (Torie); her adoptive son Ryan Swilley (Caitlin); and her grandchildren, Ethan Hester, Maddie, Raylan "Bub" and Ada Grace Swilley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Memorial Baptist Church (476 MS-26, Poplarville, MS 39470). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
