He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shaw and Eunice Krohn Shaw; his former wife Mary Helen Shaw; and his son Paul L. Shaw, Jr. (Lynnie). He is survived by: his wife Valerie Shaw; his daughters, Gina Hariel (Eddie) and Kasondra Shaw; his stepdaughters, Tabatha Spiers (Rex) and Hope Shaw (Lance); and his grandchildren, Mary Helen Daniels (Josh), Heather Reid (Dustin), Jacob Hariel (Kristian), Damon Peterson, Kayla Seals (Nicky), Jaclyn Seal (Garrett), Ty Smith (Bailey) and Madison Keith (Jake). He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
