It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Priscilla J. Wheat (Poplarville, Mississippi), who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Priscilla is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest "Red" Barton and Dorothea Krimlofski Barton; and her brother Richard Barton. She is survived by: her husband James D.; her children, Jimmy Wheat (Sandra) and Angela Woodall; her grandson James Woodall (Shelby); and her brother Daniel Barton (Bina). She is also survived by cousins and other family members.
