He is survived by: his wife Susan Hodge; his son Clay Hodge; his stepson Don Herndon (Monique); his sisters, Peggy Smith (late Glennis) and Linda Alexander (David); and his grandchildren, Brice Herndon, Kaleb Wheat (Marissa), Kylee Wheat, Conner Crain, Cameron Hodge and Jay Wheat (Kelvie).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the White Funeral Home (315 US-11, Poplarville, MS 39470). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
