He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Spears and Clarence "Shorty" Spears. He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Spears; his children, Scott Spears (Danna) and Shannon Spears Howard (Jim); his grandchildren, Drew Howard Northrop (Dustin), Scotty Wayne Spears (Lizzie) and Sophia Spears; his great grandchildren, Ridge, Rylee Northrop and Wrenley Birmingham; and his siblings, Sylvia Fincher and Alan Spears (Fe). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
In lieu of flowers, Rodney's wishes were to have donations made to one, or all, of his favorite charities.
