She was predeceased by: her husband James A. Showalter; her daughter Elizabeth Marie Showalter; her son-in-law Carlton Gillis; her parents, Benjamin Robert Vestal and Bertha Maxine Vestal; and her siblings, Peggy Marvene, Benjamin Robert Jr., Carol Ann, Gary Wayne, Florence Lavona and Lawrence Ray.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Sue Battaglia (Henry), James Aswell Showalter (Judy), Patricia Diane Showalter, Christopher Robert Showalter (Kim) and Steven Mark Showalter (Jody); and her sister Patricia Jane. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
