He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Oscar Breazeale and Ernestine Burnham Barnes; his wife Carol Kavanaugh Breazeale of Claiborne County, Mississippi.; his son Brent Burnham Breazeale; and his stepfather Frederick Barnes.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Elizabeth (Betsy) and Robert Kavanaugh (Connie); his siblings, James Paul Breazeale, Bettye Hinton and Barbara Smith; his grandchildren, Cecile Murtaugh (Thomas), Ashli Breazeale, Mary Shelton Wilson and Charlotte Catherine Wilson; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Mason and Hadley Murtaugh; and his brother-in-law John Thomas Kavanaugh III (Bobbie).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Glenwood Funeral Home of Port Gibson (710 Farmer St, Port Gibson, MS 39150). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the Shelton Cemetery.
