She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Dement and Ethel Landrum Dement; her son Herbert R. McLeod, III; her grandson Tyler Joseph McLeod; and her siblings, Frances Decker, Mary Snellgrove, Jewel Trest, Thomas Dement and Hughie Dement.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert R. McLeod, Jr. of Monticello; her children, Quentin G. McLeod (Christy) of Monticello and Teresa St. Amant (Ronnie) of Richland; and her siblings, Myrtle Moore of Forest, Dorothy Harris of Forest, Ellen Ross of Colorado, Stella Montgomery of Grenada, Norma Merchant of Oregon, Pat Dement of Sandersville and Michael Dement of Ohio. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
