He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert R. McLeod and Thelma Merritt McLeod; his wife Daisy M. McLeod; his son Herbert R. McLeod, III; his grandson Tyler Joseph McLeod; and his siblings, Voncile Case, Thelma L. Adcock and Edna Earl Speights.
He is survived by: his children, Quentin G. McLeod (Christy) of Monticello and Teresa St. Amant (Ronnie) of Richland. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
