With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Buckley of Prentiss, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

For Joe is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Buckley and Eloine Sandifer Buckley; his wife Linda "Pete" Buckley; and his sister Lynda Harris. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Scallorn (David) and JoAnna Pierce (Andy); his grandson Brady Pierce; and his brother-in-law Wayne Harris of Prentiss. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
