We announce the death of John Larry Holloway (Prentiss, Mississippi), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 78. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. John will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew John will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. John’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Holloway and Allene Holloway. He is survived by: his wife Martha Daniel Holloway; his children, Lori Holloway Gargus (Danny) of Brandon and Daniel G. Holloway (Adria) of Los Angeles, CA; and his granddaughter Ranger Holloway.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (3831 Front St, Silver Creek, MS 39663).
