He is survived by: his mother Tammy Easterling Burchfield of Pearl; his wife Marleena Burchfield of Columbia; his children, Jamie McElvoy of Starkville, Savannah DeWitt of Columbia, Lindon Burchfield of Pearl and Jason DeWitt of Columbia; his sister Nancy Kees (Jeff Burchfield) of Brandon; and his grandson Matthew Burkhammer.
