She was predeceased by: her parents, Vardaman Courtney and Elma Bullock Courtney; and her siblings, Betty Hudson, David Courtney and Jack Courtney.
She is survived by: her husband Glenn Pennington of Prentiss; her daughters, Tami Polk Evans of Prentiss, Angie Polk Sullivan (Don) of Florence and Robin Polk Montpelier (Larry) of Brandon; and her grandchildren, Lindsay Barnes (Patrick), Courtnay Evans, Ragan Busby (Tyler), Ali Bobo (Matt), Rylee Adcox (Jonathan) and Hayden Smith Blake (Brandon). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Chapel of Saulters Moore Funeral Home (2714 Columbia Ave, Prentiss, MS 39474). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Bassfield Cemetery.
