He was predeceased by: his parents, Seabron Hilton and Lillian Gibson Hilton; and his siblings, Bonnie Alexander, Merle Moss, Annie Lee Lain, Clifford Hilton, Walter Hilton and Roland Hilton.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Daughdrill Hilton of Prentiss; his children, Tanya Hilton Pulliam (Jamie) of Clinton and Roger Bryan Hilton of Prentiss; his grandchildren, Jessica Pulliam, Alexis Pulliam and James Edward Pulliam, III (Ravan); and his great grandchildren, Lawson Moore, Maverick Harbour, James Edward Pulliam, IV and Elizabeth Pulliam.
His dedication was evident not only in the contributions made but also in the fundraising efforts, which often included his renowned Fish Frys that drew in friends and neighbors alike.
