He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph D. White and Edna Mae Shoemake White; his wife Myrtis White; and his siblings, Jimmy Earl White, Charles White and Peggy Holloway.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Mixon (Jackie) of Franklinton, LA, Charles White (Sheila) of Prentiss and Robert McLendon (Sheila) of Prentiss; and his sisters, Juanita McNease of Prentiss and Catherine Davis (James) of Seminary. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
