He was predeceased by: his parents, Fordie Williamson and Martha Fortenberry Williamson; and his sisters, Beulah McCain, Evora Sprangler, Mary Sue Jones, Ancie Damron, Bobbie Russell and Lena Boykin.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Williamson of Prentiss; his daughters, Sherry Mathis (Terry) of Mt. Olive and Dona Hall (Tim) of Florence; his grandchildren, Wade Mathis (Rebecca), Eric Hall (Jennifer), Kyle Mathis (Courtney) and April Scoggin (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Abigail Mathis, Benjamin Mathis, Tryston Hall, Nola Hall, Sicily Mathis, Diana Mathis and Levi Scoggin.
