The memory of Alvin Adams Jr. of Purvis, Mississippi, who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Peyton Adams and Nita Ray Jones Adams; and his brother Rev. Larry Adams of Lancaster, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his children, Stephen Adams (Julia) of Summit, Pat Adams (Liz) of Cimarron, Palo Pinto and Kara Adams of Mesquite Tx; his grandchildren, Justin Adams (Jordan) of Summit, MS, Autumn Adams, Grace Adams of Cimarron, NM and Palo Pinto; his great grandchild Jase Adams of Summit, MS.; his sisters, Eugenia Felder of Baton Rouge and Carol Schwager (John) of Greenville, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Adams and Mike Perkins (Tina) of Purvis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1002 Hickory St, Summit, MS 39666).
