He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas H. Bowers and Betty Gwendolyn Campbell Bowers (Taylor); and his stepfather George Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Shelli Benton of Hernando, MS, Tiffany Terrell (Shelton) of Purvis, MS and Douglas H. Bowers (Ashley) of Purvis, MS; his grandchildren, Garrett, Faith, Mary, Madison, Shelton, Rayne and Ember; and his siblings, Vanessa Hilton, Gloria McLendon, Steven Bowers (Gail), Karla Stover (Quincy), Guy Bowers (Cindy), George Taylor, Jr., Missy Taylor Ready and Tracey Taylor.
