He was predeceased by: his parents, W. M. Ferguson and Letha Ferguson; his brothers, Virgil Ferguson and Willard Ferguson; and his former wife Jeanette Sterling Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Morris Ferguson; his sister Martha Lucille Beard (Ralph); his sister-in-law Patricia Hinton Ferguson; his nephews, Steve Ferguson, Hal Ferguson, Dwayne Ferguson, Wallace Ferguson and David Ferguson; his niece Roxanne Ferguson; his stepson Tony Morris (Kim); his stepgrandson Charles Morris; and his stepgreat-grandson Jayce Morris.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Canaan Baptist Church (34 Elliott Cir, Purvis, MS 39475). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM and on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM. A burial was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at the Roseland Cemetery.
