We bid farewell to Gladys Faye Dent of Purvis, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Gladys Faye touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Dent; her parents, Ambers "Shorty" Reed, Sr. and Lemender Reed; and her siblings, Haskell Reed, Ambers Reed, Jr., Lavon Reed, Mattie Lou Weatherford and Jo Rita Malone.
She is survived by: her children, Harlon Lott (Lynn) of Purvis and Myra Ann Davis of Hattiesburg, MS; her sister Pauline Harms of Denver, CO; and her grandchildren, Cody Lott, Dustin Lott, Jesse Lott (Alexandria), Brittany Frierichs (Zack), Bradley Hill (Sarah) and Brandon Hill (Makayla). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
