She was predeceased by : her husband Rosua Zell Burkhalter; her grandsons, Patrick Burkhalter and Chasten Burkhalter; her daughters-in-law, Linda Burkhalter and Kathy Burkhalter; her parents, Johnny Haden and Bertie Haden; and her siblings, Eugene Haden, Sheldon Haden, Johnny Haden, Voncile Rodriguez, Vivian Saucier and Pat Johnston.
She is survived by : her children, Lynell Powell (Richard), Debbie Stuckey (Thomas), Shannon Burkhalter, Ron Burkhalter, Gary Burkhalter (Wanda), Ricky Burkhalter, Preston Burkhalter (Jeannie) and Tony Lambert (Tammy).
