He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Nobles (Sylvester Nobles) and Sylvester Frank Runnells (Lena); and his brothers, Randy Cady Sr. and Curtis Nobles. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Runnells; his children, Jimmy D. Runnells (Stacie), Sherry Runnells and Jeannie Hartfield (Eric); his grandchildren, Cody Runnells (April), Harley Runnells, Landon Hartfield and Austin Kay; and his siblings, James Runnells, Billy Nobles, Carla Nobles, Marsha Lou Davis and Deedee Runnells Sequeira. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home (205 Bay St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
