He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Rayborn and Maude Rayborn; his wife Myrtle Rayborn; and his siblings, A. E. Rayborn, I, V. Rayborn, Joe Rayborn, Vivian McGraw, Valerie Lenard and Ruth Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Rayborn (Valerie) of Purvis, Gay Lawson (David) of Purvis, Kay Rayborn of Purvis and Carmen Lee (Donald) of Petal; and his grandchildren, Jon Mark Rayborn (Megan) of Purvis, Kristen Lowery (Jared) of Petal, Bradley Rayborn (Bailee) of Poplarville, Jared Lee (Katie) of Hattiesburg, Evelyn Bond (Chris) of Purvis, Zachary Lawson and Bethany Lawson (Dale Pickering) of Purvis. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Freedom Worship Center (72 MS-589, Purvis, MS 39475). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at the Pleasant Home Cemetery (1482 Purvis To Baxterville Rd, Purvis, MS 39475).
