It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis B. Campbell of Purvis, Mississippi, who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy D. Campbell; her parents, Robert Burleson and Myrtle Burleson; her siblings, Dorothy Mae Evans, Mary Frances Wyat, Robert Burleson, Glennis Burleson and Jerry Lee Burleson; and her sons-in-law, Dean Williams and Andy "Bamm" Woodham.

She is survived by: her children, Elaine Williams, Jamie Campbell, Pam Campbell, Sherrie Campbell and Rob Campbell; her grandchildren, Zachary Williams, Tiffany Campbell (Bob McKenney), Mandy Sanchez (Mark) and Lauryn Nye (Harry Brown); and her great grandchildren, Joseph Catalano, Haisley Campbell, Henley Nye, Lily Brown, Tristan Sanchez, Caleb Sanchez, Amber Walters (Scot) and Ashley Dempsey.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Purvis Methodist Church (206 Mitchell Ave, Purvis, MS 39475). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at the Campbell Cemetery.
