He is survived by: his parents, Hayward E. Burkhalter and Hazel Burkhalter of Purvis, MS; his children, Brittany Burkhalter (Kenny Scott) of Colorado City, CO, Lindsey Sargent of Purvis, MS and William Randall Burkhalter of Hattiesburg, MS; his siblings, Rhonda Allen (Jim) of Hattiesburg, MS, Lori Caston (Richie) of Purvis, MS and Kerry Burkhalter (Shay) of Purvis, MS; and his grandchildren, Christopher Scott of Colorado City, CO, Blaine Burkhalter of Purvis, MS and Kenadi Burkhalter of Poplarville, MS.. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Okahola Baptist Church (3889 Old Hwy 11, Purvis, MS 39401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Burkhalter Family Cemetery (9 Toxie Burkhalter Rd, Purvis, MS 39475).
