He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brewster Pyles and Esther Mae Smith. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Lewman Pyles; and his children, Stephen Evertett Stevens (Derek) of Palm Springs, CA, Suzan Ellen Kreeger (Alfred) of Pearl River and Stephanie Ellen Garretson (Jason) of Pearl River. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
