He was predeceased by : his father George Mathis; and his uncles, Steve Mathis and Larry Mathis. He is survived by : his wife Kelly Mathis; his mother Clara Lee Mathis (Lee); his uncle Donnie Mathis (Vicki); his aunts, Sylvia Mathis and Donna Mathis; and his cousins, Mark Mathis (Margaret Ann), Alan Mathis (Lisa), Ryan Mathis, Lauren Mathis, Keri Mathis, Brooke Gipson (Brad), Blake Mathis and Angela Sisson.
